Shaun HuffmanBranch Manager

He’s buff, kind, and handy, and he once wore cowboy boots to a cookout and boat ride on the lake. He’s Shaun Huffman, Branch Manager in our Springfield, Illinois, office.
The Muppet sportscaster Louis Kazagger best describes Shaun, who loves baseball, camping, and working his small farm. All three activities involve his wife and three kids.
He’s a fan of Ayn Rand and George Orwell and his favorite book is Orwell’s classic 1984. Going backstage is on the top of his bucket list, and he’d be a great wrestler on WWE Raw because he has the Rick Rude intro down!
Why is Shaun good at his job? “I have the ability to learn from situations and minimize the impact of those situations by making clear, unfoggy, unemotional decisions.  Oh, and I like to have a good time as much as possible.  Just because the work can be tedious, boring, difficult, humbling, and soul-devouring, it doesn’t mean we can’t have fun doing it.”

Jeff JohnsonRecruiting Manager

Even when he got shot in the face during an office Nerf gun battle, Jeff Johnson didn’t get up and fight.
No wonder he’s seen as laid back. But the Recruiting Manager in our Springfield, Illinois, office is also known for being competitive, persistent, and motivated. After all, his walk-up song would be “All I do is Win” by DJ Khaled. And he loves the challenge of working in IT staffing.
“I was drawn to this industry because I enjoy being challenged and I really like the fact that no two days are every completely the same. Being tasked with finding candidates who have unique or somewhat rare skill sets is something that appeals to me.”
Jeff loves watching Cubs baseball, and seeing his team play in every stadium in America is at the top of his bucket list. Bert is the Muppet who best describes Jeff, and the books he’s recommending to friends are Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption.

Kendra LeeTechnical Recruiter

Lured into the IT staffing industry by co-worker Rachael Spencer, Kendra Lee is a Senior Technical Recruiter in our Springfield, Illinois, office. She’s funny, caring, but also competitive, which may explain her answer to the question “What aspect of your personality makes you a good recruiter?”
Kendra said, “I’d tell you, but then I’d have to kill you.” With a smile.
Hanging with her kids, shopping, and reading are Kendra’s favorite activities, and she recommends The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown to her friends.
Kendra’s walk-up song would be John Legend’s “Green Light” and she would be great on the reality TV show “Pimp My Ride,” because her ride needs a serious upgrade.
Traveling to Greece, or becoming a published author under her pen name, top Kendra’s bucket list. Ma Otter from the Muppet movie Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas best describes Kendra because she loves that movie. And she’ll never wear a pencil skirt to the office again.

Rachael SpencerTechnical Recruiter

For Rachael Spencer, Senior Technical Recruiter in our Springfield, Illinois, office, there isn’t anything better than hearing “thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for” when she places a candidate in a role they enjoy.
Rachael did some recruiting work before joining LRS Consulting Services. “I enjoyed meeting and getting to know people and seeing where their strengths would make them successful. I was a stranger to technology , so I saw this as both a new challenge as well as something I’ve enjoyed.”
Reliable, loyal, and witty, Rachael would be great on “Jersey Shore” with a mean fist pump after a few drinks. Her walk-up song is Biggie’s “Hypnotize,” and traveling the world is at the top of her bucket list.
She recommends the Tina Fey book Bossypants to her friends, and spoiling her family, early morning gym classes, and sleeping are Rachael’s favorite activities. Assuming she really sleeps AND makes it to early morning gym classes.

Jake LohrenzAccount Executive

Not that Jake Lohrenz is strong or anything, but he once threw a LRS-branded foam ball through a wall. That moment of awesomeness was negated when he wore white after Labor Day, however.
An Account Executive in our Springfield, Illinois, office, Jake is known for his energy and love of parties. He’s assertive, passionate, and warmhearted, and he joined LRS Consulting Services for the chance to work for a great company and help other people find great job opportunities.
Jake identifies with Animal, the barely-controlled drummer in the Muppet band, and he would be great on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” as Scott’s BFF. His walk-up song is, of course, “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten.
Owning a multinational, world-renowned bourbon distillery is at the top of Jake’s bucket list, but for now he’s happy spending time with family, building stuff, and playing sports.

Sue HarveyOffice Administrator

The Office Administrator in our Springfield office, Sue Harvey says having an open mind makes her successful in dealing with her responsibilities. She’s a creative, loyal, and caring person who was drawn to the recruiting industry by happenstance.

Everyone in the Springfield office as well as consultants who placed through the office are happy about that happenstance. Family is Sue’s top priority away from work, and she enjoys camping and sewing. She recommends that her friends read the Dr. Seuss book Oh, The Places You’ll Go!
